THE APPROACH

This seminar has been designed to deliver tools and simple techniques to dramatically improve your communication skills. Research suggests we normally listen at about 25% of our listening potential. Most of us think we are good listeners, but that overconfidence may be the reason for misunderstandings, frustration and stressful relationships. PART I Pre-Course Analysis

Through discussions with management and/or participants, Spectrum identifies the learning objectives prior to the seminar. It is important for the facilitator to appreciate participant's needs, challenges and expectations in order to tailor the seminar.

PART II Effective Communications Skills Seminar

This one-day program fosters the essential attitudes and skills necessary to explore the dynamics of effective communication.

Introduction: Communicating effectively demands our full attention and is vital to any successful relationship. To persuade, inform or exchange information, both parties – the sender and the receiver – must be actively involved.
